How to make a backup and Restore of your phpbb3 forum.

First goto the ACP on your forum NOT the outer ACP then on the the top tabs you will see the ( Maintenance ) button press that button then on the left hand side you will see the ( Database ) press the ( backup ) button then you will see the following:



To make a backup make sure to keep all the setting like they are as follows:



Then you must select the ( Select all ) button then all of the ( Tables ) will turn to blue then press the ( submit ) button:



Please Note - This backup of your forum will backup to our servers ONLY!! and will NOT give you the backup locally.

Please Note - In order for the ( Restore ) to work you must have already have made a backup of your forum IF you have not done so you must post for the admin to put one in place for you. you MUST add the following to that post:
1.) Your forum url.
2.) The information to what happened leading to the needing of the backup installed.
3.) The date that you would like the admin to put the backup in place for you.

Then you will see the date of the last restore press the date and time it will ( Highlight ) then press the ( Start Restore ) button and your backup will be in place.

Always make backups of your forum it will save you time and aggravations latter..
