Its simply and will work on phpbb24 and phpbb3

1) Log into you're ACP

2) Go to Aplications

3) Click Configuration

4) Click Custom Content

5) Place this code into the "Insert text in the foot"


6) Click UPDATE DATA

DONE!

there is no 2) Go to Aplications on phpbb2 in ACP .

KTK in order to get the color to change in phpbb2 you have to do the following:
1.) login to the acp on your forum.
2.) goto Styles Admin.
3.) press the Management button.
4.) press the edit button.
5.) Edit Theme> Background Colour:
6.) to find the colors that you may want to use goto this url and find ( 216 Web Safe Colors
Hexadecimal RGB Values ) : http://www.web-source.net/216_color_chart.htm
7.) after you have added the color press the ( save settings ) button.

go back to your forum and your backround color will be there..

Thanks but still can't change the back ground I did like you said and in ACP it changed the color but when I go out to forum it did not change.
what about change bg with image ? not the code color .

KTK i dont know what template you are using?? but the backround color will only work with white backround templates like subsilver and subsilverplus ect. the bg image is for pictures that you want as backround its kind of buggy it will work most of the time but you still need a white backround...
