How to upgrade your phpbb2 forum to phpbb3.

You can upgrade your phpbb2 to phpbb3 by going to the outer ACP at: http://{ YOUR FORUM URL }.com/acp

Once you have logged in the outer acp on the left hand side you will see the Aplications button press that> (( phpBB2 forum [ Upgrade to phpbb3 ] )) press the Upgrade to phpbb3 button and your phpbb3 forum is ready to go...


Please note
** Once you have upgraded to phpbb3 you cant go back to phpbb2.
*** phpbb2 will be phased out of the getforum.org servers as soon as the admin can get the portal ready for phpbb3.
**** The portal can not be converted, you can after the conversion activate the phpbb2 forum again to look at the portal content and try to copy it over manually to the phpbb3 portal.
***** The phpbb2 gallery can be converted into the gallery in the phpbb3 forum.
****** The blog mod in phpbb2 can in many cases be converted into the blog mod in phpbb3, please make a post here in the support forum and we will help you.
